Each involves different tactics but ultimately they result in exerting control or taking advantage of others.
Like most human interaction, this gets complicated and has levels. We recognize the big abuses, but often overlook the smaller ones that allow the bigger ones to exist.
There are many ways to exert power and control over others that are part of our daily existence, and the fact that they are there may not be a concern immediately - but it can lead to this attitude that we are in some way better than others. Honestly, we are all guilty of that feeling of superiority at one point or another.
So, are we addressing that need within ourselves, changing to correct it, or are we feeding it and helping it grow?
Not one of us is perfect. We rise and fall so that we can evolve into better versions of ourselves.
The question is, what are we evolving into?
